Formed in 1977, the BFA are the nation’s ‘voice of ethical franchising’. The organisation is a voluntary, self-regulated body for the UK franchise sector. They ‘promote and accredit excellence’ within the industry; promoting, encouraging and advising their membership.
The BFA are highly respected. To become an affiliate member, all franchisors and professional advisors MUST be accredited. They’re then subject to the BFA’s ‘strict and extensive’ accreditation criteria.
