We’re delighted to announce that Danbro has been shortlisted for not one, not two, but THREE BIBAs – Lancashire’s most influential business awards.
Our nominations include Business of the Year, Service Business of the Year and Employer of the Year – two of which we first won all the way back in 2011!
‘Proud & Privileged’
Danbro’s CEO, Helen Broughton MBE DL, said she felt ‘proud and privileged’ at the hat-trick of nominations, which recognises Lancashire’s biggest and best businesses.
“It’s a real privilege to be nominated for these three awards,” she said. “I’m extremely proud of the team and everyone who’s contributed to our continued success.”
“I’d like to personally thank the BIBA judges and the Lancashire Chamber of Commerce for recognising the wonderful work our team do here at Danbro.”
“Winning a BIBA is a real honour. It’s like getting a great big hug from the wonderful world of Lancashire business! We treasure our memories from years gone by, and I’m already looking forward to the awards ceremony in September for what is always an exciting, entertaining and truly inspiring evening.”
Danbro @ the BIBAs
The Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) are Lancashire’s most prestigious business awards. Since 2008, they have celebrated the county’s ‘most exciting companies and entrepreneurs’, showcasing their success and highlighting Lancashire’s position as a world-class business community.
At Danbro we have a long affinity with the BIBAs, stretching back over a decade. Back in 2011, we triumphed in the Employer of the Year and Business of the Year categories, winning the latter once again in 2015.
As always, this year we’re coming up against some fantastic and inspirational local businesses, with the final taking place on Friday 16th September at the fabulous Blackpool Tower Ballroom. To see a full list of the finalists, click here.
We’ll be sharing more information on the awards over the coming months, so stay tuned for updates and wish us luck!
