Designates New Director |
Danbro, is delighted to announce the promotion of John Thornburn
to the position of director.
John, who has been with the
firm for nearly two years, has been appointed as director
with immediate affect and will now have increased responsibility
and play a bigger role in the running of Danbro.
Having
worked as the accounting manager for the past two years,
John will also continue to fulfil his duties of managing
the practice’s extensive accounting team and overseeing
the smooth operation of all accounting work on a day to day
basis.
Commenting on his promotion, John said: "I am
delighted to be promoted as a director. The government is
constantly changing and increasing the legislation for the
contractor industry and as such, more and more contractors
are choosing to employ the services of a specialist accountant.
I am therefore delighted to be part of a team shaping this
emerging industry, especially in my new role as director."

John’s
career in accountancy began with a three year training programme
with a major national professional services firm, after which
he worked for several large companies before managing the
Manchester office for a top national accountancy firm.
