Danbro Announce New Death in Service Benefits
Specialist accountants for contractors, Danbro, have expanded their range of services with a new Personal Accident Insurance Policy at Work for clients currently working under its umbrella company.
The firm specialises in supporting the thousands of contractors and freelance workers around the UK, providing services such as accounting, administration and bookkeeping, as well as benefits normally only enjoyed by permanent employees, including childcare vouchers and a pension scheme.
The new policy offers death in service cover of £50,000 and accident cover of £400 per week, after the first two weeks, up to a maximum of a year, for a premium of £1.08 net per week, or £4.69 net per month (£2 or £8.67 gross).
Damian Broughton, partner at Danbro, said: “In the current economic climate, this gives another safety net, which looks after the unforeseen eventuality of someone having an accident at work.
“With this cover, if someone has an accident they will still be receiving an income after the first two weeks of £400, on top of any statutory sick pay.
“Also the death in service benefit gives some comfort, and takes away some of the worry of what might happen to the relatives left behind, especially in this climate.”
Blackpool-based Danbro has enjoyed rapid expansion over the past year, opening its first office in London last July, to allow it to work more closely with existing clients in the City and attract new business from firms in the south. A further office in Manchester opened in January, with plans in the pipeline for further rollouts this year.
It has featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list, which lists the fastest-growing companies in the UK, for the past two years and recently became an affiliate of the UK’s leading professional recruitment industry body, the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo).
