Danbro are making it even easier for clients to send in information by creating a unique text messaging service.

We have set up a mobile number to which contractors, freelancers and temporary staff can text details of their hours and expenses, as an alternative to submitting information by post, fax, email or via the Danbro online DOTS system, accessible via its website at www.danbro.co.uk

We have even created our own “text speak” abbreviations to reduce the number of characters used within a text message, aiming to make this service as simple as possible for the contractor.

For example, a rate of pay of £15 per hour becomes RP: £15/hour while claiming expenses for two nights in a hotel at £45 per night becomes Acom: £45 x 2 = £90.

We are very much aware that our clients are busy people and, by the nature of contractor or freelance work, often on the move, which means that they don’t always have time to sit down at a computer or fill in a form to submit their expenses.

We believe our text messaging service offers a quick and convenient option for submitting hours and expense details and to make it easier for our clients, we’ve produced a guide to texting hours and expenses, explaining the format and abbreviations to be used.
