Insurances

As a Limited Company business what types of insurance cover are compulsory?

It is advisable, to consider all elements of insurance to protect you from a variety of risks within your market. You are, however, compelled by current legislation to have Employers' Liability Insurance if you have a contract of employment. The policy from Caunce O’Hara for Employers Liability includes automatic cover should you need to send a substitute to a customers premises should you not be able to attend for instance if you are on holiday or suffering from ill health.

In addition, often under contract, you are required to carry Professional Indemnity Insurance cover. From time to time you may also be required to have Public Liability cover.
