Streetwise Youth Club say a big thank you to Danbro Accountants

Danbro, the specialist firm of contract accountants and North West’s ‘Business of the Year 2011’, have kindly donated £3000 to help Streetwise Youth Club purchase a new minibus.

The award winning youth club is headed by Elaine & Gerry Gregoire who have seen the club grow from 15 members to over 200 since being established back in 2000.

The generous donation by Danbro will allow them to purchase a new 16 seat minibus, allowing those members who are unable to arrange transport to the club to be picked up.

Streetwise founder Gerry Gregoire said:

“The donation by Danbro is a massive blessing and will help us give more kids an opportunity to get involved with Streetwise. We believe that the activities we promote really do set a good foundation for the kids and young adults that attend. Anyone is welcome at Streetwise so please come on down.”

The Lytham based youth club has been awarded the Princess Diana Award,  ‘Fylde’s Got Talent finalist and also have a long string of success stories.

Ex-member and now professional football player Jo Cardle said:

“Streetwise was brilliant and I always looked forward to it. There was always something fun to do and it gave everyone a chance to meet new friends. It kept me focused and active – I would definitely recommend to parents and their kids.”
