Danbro Construct

Danbro Construct

With this solution, Danbro is registered as a CIS contractor and you would operate as a registered subcontractor.

Benefits of Joining CIS Construct

  1. We can advice you on your working practice, ensuring total compliance
  2. We would invoice your agency/client, collect monies and make the necessary CIS deduction
  3. We send your money direct to your account the same day we receive it from your agency/client by BACs.
  4. As self-employed you are not subject to employed NI rates, putting more money in your pocket.
  5. You can claim business expenses through your end-of-year self assessment tax return, which Danbro can help you with.
  6. If you engage any subcontractors to carry out work, just direct them to our services and we can do the rest.
  7. Simplifies the administration process for agencies and end clients who can pay us gross.

What are your responsibilities?

  • If you are self-employed and work within construction, you are required to register on the CIS (call HMRC on 08456070143 to register).
  • You will be given a UTR number (if already registered you will have one of these), which you will then pass to us to ensure you are taxed at the right rate (0%, 20% or 30%).
  • At the end of the year you are required to fill in a self assessment, which we can help you with.
  • As you are self-employed you are obliged to arrange payment towards your National Insurance contributions. These are Class 2 NI payments (£2.40pw), which can be paid by direct debit to HMRC each week, and also Class 4 NI (8%),
  • Ensure you keep track on your business expenses, keeping hold of receipts and paperwork, which will allow you to claim tax relief on these when you complete your self assessment.

What’s the next step?

If you haven’t registered with the CIS and obtained a UTR number, call HMRC now on 08456070143.

If you are have registered with the CIS you should have been issued with a UTR number. We will require this to ensure you are taxed correctly (this can be 0%, 20% or 30% of your gross).

The next step is simply to register with our service.
